Okay – and as an example of the List Brain and its End Of The Year obsessions, I was looking through the frequency of tags on the MK40 Blog. Thought I’d try and see what kind of year it has really been. Below you’ll find a complete list of anything that I tagged more than ten times over the course of 2007.

Makes up quite an accurate impression of me, actually. You might be surprised that “Simon” occurred more than “Matthew” (or you might not!!! Ho!), but that’s cos I only tagged “Matthew” if the entry was specifically about me and my own brain. Actually all the entries should have been tagged “Matthew”.

But clearly I’m a man who has consistently run a Blog which deals with “Milton Keynes” – focussed around the “city centre”, “local news”, “history” and “crime” but also heavy on “nostalgia”.

His closest friends and the people he sees most often are “Helen”, “Simon”, “Caroline”, “Phil”, “Underhill”, “Martin”, “Motorbike Simon” and “Jim”, not necessarily in that order!

He has spent much of the year talking about the “music” of his bands “Stone Circle” and “The Further Adventures Of Vodka Boy” and also some things called “’Allo ‘Allo”, “Ludamus”, and “Monkey Kettle”. Whatever they may be.

The estates which loom largest in his mind are “Haversham” (where his parents live), “Wolverton” (where he lived as a young kid and where places like “MADCAP” are) and “Oldbrook” (where he lives).

He likes “pubs” and “summer”.
